He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Culvertown, an Army veteran of World War II serving in Germany and was retired from construction after working 45 years for various construction companies working on I-65 most of those years. He was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Catherine Dolores Culver Nalley; his parents, William Vincent and Mary Ruley Nalley; five brothers, Richard Nalley, Paul Nalley, William Nalley, Charles Nalley and Preston Nalley; and a sister, Martha Nalley Lewis. Survivors include a son, Joseph Carl Nalley, Boston; a nephew he raised as a son, Michael L. Dobson, Bardstown; a daughter, Jean Frazier, Boston; two grandchildren; a half sister, Margaret Ann Kiesler, Louisville; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. The funeral is 11 A.M. Wednesday in the chapel of William R. Rust Funeral Home, 167 N. Main St. New Haven, with burial in St. Thomas Catholic Church Cemetery, Bardstown. Deacon Eddie Hutchins will officiate. Visitation is 9 A.M. Wednesday until the time of the service at the funeral home. William R. Rust Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
