Died, Cresswell Manor, Bray, Berkshire.
1206, he was on the King's service overseas, and bringing prisoners ba
ck to England. He joined the Barons against John, but returned to his fai
th and service in 1217. In 1223 he was a commissioner for sale of windfal
ls in Windsor Forest, and, in 1224, to guard a section of the coast. Somet
ime keeper of Jersey Castle. In 1230 he was in charge of shipping and tran
sport for Henry's abortive expedition into France. He died in or before 12
