f Gloucester, daughter of Gilbert, 6th Earl and Joan of Acre. She m. (2) 4 Feb 1315/6 as (2) wife, Theobald de Verdun, Knight, Lord Verdun, b. 8 Sep 1278, d. 27 July 1316; m. (3) by 3 May 1317 Roger Damory, Lord Damory, d. 13-14 Mar 1321/2. She died 4 Nov 1360, age 65, leaving a will. [Ancestral Roots]tham Abbey, Essex, in the King's presence, Elizabeth, sister and coheir of Gilbert (DE CLARE), 7th EARL OF GLOUCESTER AND HERTFORD, 3rd and youngest daughter of Gilbert, 6th EARL OF GLOUCESTER AND HERTFORD, by his 2nd wife, Joan, "of Acre," daughter of EDWARD I. Elizabeth, who was born 16 September 1295 at Tewkesbury, came to Ireland, 15 October 1309. John died v.p. 18 June 1313 at Galway. His widow, who received the Honor of Clare in her purparty of her brother's estates, married, 4 February 1315/16, near Bristol, as his 2nd wife, Theobald DE VERDUNore 3 May 1317, Roger DAMORY [LORD DAMORY], who died 13 or 14 March 1321/2. She died 4 November 1360, aged 65. M.I. to her and her 3rd husband in St. Mary's, Ware.
