Father of Samuel GOTTSCHALL and Catharine GOTTSCHALL and Henry GOTTSCHALL and Mary GOTTSCHALL and John GOTTSCHALL and Abraham GOTTSCHALL and Christian GOTTSCHALL. Son of Samuel Godshalk and Mary Geil. Brother of Jacob Godshalk and Agnes Godshalk and Nancy Godshalk and William GODSHALK and Mary Godshalk and Mary Godshalk and John Godshalk and George GODSHALK and Samuel GODSHALK.

--He was ordained to the ministry in the Minnonite church. in 1824, which he faithfully served during the remainder of his life.
