John is referenced as a Captain. Cathy Judd at Rootsweb / the Terrill Family Forum / 23 March 2001 / makes reference to John and his wife Elizabeth Merritt. She suggests that he may have been from the area of Shropshire England. She suggests that they arrived in Virginia by at least 1620 when there son Augustine Moore was born. That Augustine married Margaret (Mary) Wooley according to Ms. Judd. This assumption would eliminate Augustine and his wife Elizabeth Anne (?) from the instant genealogy.he son of Robert Moore. That John is referenced as having arrived in Virginia aboard the 'Bona Nova' at age 36 in 1620 under his own muster. His wife Elizabeth is referenced as having arrive aboard the 'Abigail' two years later in 1622.
